The movie "Great equals" with the participation of famous stars Zhang Ziyi, Liu Jiayan, Zhao Liying, Yang Mi, Yi Yang Qianxi, Li Xian has officially been released in theaters in China.
Although the film's content is controversial, Duong Mich's performance as the supporting actress Vuong Hua Mai is receiving positive reactions.
Vuong Hua Mai is a character with complex circumstances and psychology. Because of her relationship with a political leader, she was arrested and imprisoned. But as a strong woman, she quickly established herself as a position, becoming a "big sister" in prison.
After that, Vuong Hua Mai and the female lead Chiem Chu Thi (Chuong Tu Di) - who was involved in the murder case of her husband - formed a special relationship between adversity.
This role requires Duong Mich to express the multi-dimensional nature of the character - a tough, well-off person when being with Chiem Chu Thi, but also carrying insecurity, finding every scene to survive.

In a recent interview, director of the movie Great balance Tran Kha Tan frankly expressed: If time allows, I want to film the spin-off of Vuong Hua Mai.
Before getting into prison, how did she live? There was a line from her: "If I could go out, I would buy the best in Shanghai, so that the whole world would know that Vuong Hua Mai has returned". How brave does a woman have to be to say that?, the director added.
In addition, director Tran Kha Tan praised Duong Mich's professional attitude and acting ability. He confirmed that Duong Mich completely left a mark in the film.
When I met Duong Mich, I immediately thought she could try her hand at this character. But I always emphasized to her that she absolutely wasn't wearing makeup while filming, she definitely had to wear a bare face. Then she agreed to leave it on the forest. When I went to the set, it was true that she had absolutely no makeup, the director shared.
In response to the director's request, Duong Mich did not hesitate to agree. She said: " Actors are to serve the role. If the carpentry can make the character more realistic, I wish to put aside all the glory outside.
According to director Tran Kha Tan, to perfectly perform the farewell scene to Chiem Chu Thi in prison, Duong Mich has specially studied music.
When turning on the camera, the farewell scene of Chiem Chu Thi suddenly turned into a singing scene, making the director extremely emotional. In this scene, Duong Mich shows the classic excerpt of "Thap bo soy toan" in the horror play "Luong Son Ba and Chuc Anh Dai".
The director praised Duong Mich in the breakup scene and told her that the execution scene did not need to be acted out too much anymore, because every character was covered in a header.
However, Duong Mich still wants to try her hand at this scene. Finally, the scene where Vuong Hua Mai kneels on the ground and punches continuously in the stomach before being executed left an impression on the audience.
According to Sohu, in some scenes with Zhang Ziyi, the emotions and feelings in Yang Mi's eyes were not even inferior to her senior.
