According to the producer, before finalizing the official list, the crew received more than 100 nominations from audiences and fans about the faces they want to appear in the new season. However, the program only selected 34 artists to participate in this year's journey.

Season 2 gathers many faces active in different fields. Besides singers and musicians such as Dong Hung, Hoang Ton, Dinh Manh Ninh, Trinh Thang Binh, Hoang Dung or Osad, the program also has the participation of artist Dai Nghia, actor Huynh Lap, model - actor Le Xuan Tien, MC Dinh Tien Dung and circus artist Phung Minh Cuong.
Notably, the new season marks the return of 5 artists who participated in the first season, including Jun Pham, Neko Le, Thanh Duy, Duy Khanh and BB Tran. The combination of familiar faces and new factors is expected to create many different colors for the program.
Regarding the production team, besides two familiar names, stage director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu and music director SlimV, this year's program has the companionship of image director Tran Quoc Vuong, light director Phuc Nguyen, artistic director Vi Khang and Hua Man in the role of artistic director of reality.
One of the notable new points of "Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai" season 2 is the expansion of the age of contestants. If the first season mainly gathered artists who have been active in art for many years, this season the program welcomes more young faces under 30 years old such as Ha An Huy, Thai Le Minh Hieu or Phung Minh Cuong.
