On June 12, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team of the People's Committee of Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh) worked with the owner of Oc Met restaurant (address: 316 Xuan Dieu, Tran Phu ward) - a restaurant related to information about tourists reporting the sale of bad food.
On the same morning, a personal Facebook account named D.D.T posted information, photos, and content: "The worm makes the stewed pot of rice - The one that destroys Quy Nhon tourism", calling for a boycott of Oc Met restaurant for selling snails with signs of being unstable.
In addition, this account also reflects the fact that the electric car driver "hunted" him to go to Oc Met restaurant to " partake" the roses.

Mr. D.D.T (a tourist from Hanoi; Facebook account owner D.D.T) said that on the evening of June 11, his group of 8 people planned to go to Quy Nhon night market to eat. However, when calling an electric car, the driver suggested going to the seafood restaurants along Xuan Dieu Street, with the advertisement "fresh, delicious, affordable food".
Believing the driver, the group of tourists agreed to go to Oc Met restaurant. At around 10:40 p.m., the group went to the restaurant and ordered 5 dishes including: Nhum beo hanh (8 chickens), oyster beo hanh (16 chickens), nam mai beo hanh (4 chickens), nam nam nam steamed song, nam bo and 8 cans of beer.

"Many dishes have a very unpleasant smell, and are as durable as clothes to leave them with a long, rotten smell. Because the dishes have a lot of onion fat, the smell is less Domestic, but when we eat them, we cannot swallow them because the smell is very unpleasant and nauseous," the male tourist recounted.
After eating, the group of guests paid the bill of VND 1,277,000 and directly reported to the restaurant owner about the quality of the food.
Immediately after receiving the feedback, the Quy Nhon City Interdisciplinary Inspection Team worked with Mr. Nong Van Dat (born in 1993) - owner of Oc Met restaurant. According to Mr. Dat, the group of tourists who came to order and used all 2 dishes of the restaurant, when calculating the price, they thought the food was bad.
"We checked again and found no spoiled seafood. Due to the discomfort of customers, the restaurant had to exchange words, making customers unhappy," said Mr. Dat.
When asked by a representative of the Quy Nhon City Health Department about the origin of raw materials and processing process, the snail restaurant owner admitted that there were negligence and shortcomings in checking and controlling input quality.
Mr. Phan Tuan Hoang - Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Quy Nhon City, Head of the inspection team - said that Oc Met restaurant was once affected by price reflection, but now continues to be complained about the quality of the dishes and service attitude.
Therefore, the owner of this restaurant needs to seriously rectify and overcome this situation immediately. The restaurant owner must comply with regulations on food hygiene and safety, price transparency, ensure clear ingredient origin and serve tourists.
Mr. Phan Tuan Hoang requested the Quy Nhon City Health Department and the People's Committee of Tran Phu Ward to conduct an inspection of food safety conditions, practice certificates, and processing procedures in the kitchen of this snail restaurant. If violations are detected, the restaurant must temporarily suspend operations and strictly handle them to protect the city's tourism image.
