The Van Canh Wind Power Plant project will be organized to bid to select investors according to regulations, aiming at the goal of developing clean and sustainable energy in Binh Dinh province.
The project is expected to be implemented in Canh Lien commune (Van Canh district), with a scale of nearly 49 hectares, a designed capacity of 143MW, and an electricity output of about 391.8 million kWh/year. The implementation period is 36 months from the date of the decision to recognize the investor, with an operating period of 50 years.
When put into operation, the plant will provide renewable power sources for the national power system, contributing to ensuring energy security, serving the socio-economic development needs of the province, and reducing power losses during transmission.
The project also expects to bring many resonant values such as contributing revenue to the local budget, creating jobs for people in the project area, promoting industrial development and contributing to the implementation of the double-digit economic growth target in the coming time.
