The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued a decision approving the adjustment of the investment policy and approving the investor of the project "Construction of a solid waste treatment plant, Hiep Hoa district" of Ngoi Sao Xanh Environment Company Limited and HHK Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company.
Project implementation location: Dong Quan Village and Hung Dao Village, Hiep Hoa Commune, Bac Ninh Province.
The incinerator line has a capacity to burn 500 tons/day (including: at least 400 tons of domestic waste; maximum 100 tons of industrial waste).
Processing and recycling lines to collect scrap: 400 tons of industrial waste/day.
Other recycling: 300 tons/day. Install a wastewater treatment system and a heat-undressed modul system to generate 13MW of electricity.
Total investment capital of the project: VND 2,180,000,000 (Two thousand, one hundred and eighty billion VND). Of which, the investor's contributed capital: VND 436,000,000,000, mobilized capital (borrowed from credit institutions) is VND 1,744,000,000,000.
The project is expected to be completed and officially put into operation in December 2027.
Every day, Bac Ninh province generates thousands of tons of household waste and hundreds of tons of industrial waste.
Faced with this situation, the province has built incinerators to urgently treat domestic waste, invested in high-energy solid waste treatment areas in the area.
Bac Ninh province currently has 4 solid waste treatment plants for energy generation in the districts (old): Que Vo, Thuan Thanh and Luong Tai with a total capacity of about 1,800 tons/day and night. Up to now, the plants have been put into operation, contributing to waste treatment in localities in the province.
In particular, the Green Star waste-to-energy plant located in Phu Lang commune (Bac Ninh province) invested by a joint venture of Green Star Environment Company Limited and Chosun Refractory Engineering Company (Korea) with a total investment of 33 million USD officially put into operation from November 2023.
