On August 3, talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Dang Quoc Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Van ward (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) said that the Phung Khoang lake park project with an area of 11.8 hectares was approved. Construction started in 2016, expected to be completed in 2017 but is still not operational.
Although many items have been completed, Phung Khoang Park cannot be put into use because there are still problems with site clearance. Dozens of households have not yet moved out of the project area, so many construction contents cannot be implemented, directly affecting the progress and completion time of this park.
"The Ward People's Committee has issued a written request to the investor to soon complete the site clearance work and restart the project so that the park can be completed soon to meet the entertainment and entertainment needs of the people," Mr. Hung adds.
Previously on August 2, Lao Dong reporters were present at the Phung Khoang air-conditioned park project and noted the fact that the four exterior sides of the park were still covered with corrugated iron and the doors were locked with iron chains. The road in the park was covered with moss because there were no passersby; Many trees have died, the lighting system is surrounded by trash and overgrown weeds cover the path.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, who lives in the apartment complex at 15 To Huu, (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi), said that this park project has been surrounded by corrugated iron for a long time. Because it hasn't been used for a long time, many people have taken over the sidewalks as parking spaces.
"It hasn't been put into operation for too long, so many people often throw trash into the park, causing flies and mosquitoes to gather, which is extremely unhygienic, posing a potential risk of disease infection. Hopefully the project will operate soon to end this situation," Mr. Minh shared.
Every day, going to the gym on To Huu street, Ms. Nguyen Minh Anh (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi) feels regretful when an air-conditioned park has completed many items but is not yet operational.
Ms. Minh Anh said that many types of plants and weeds have grown overgrown inside the park because they have not been pruned or cared for for a long time. Many trees have even grown outside the fence, making it difficult for people to walk.
"The area around To Huu street does not have any parks for people to play and entertain. While Phung Khoang lake park remains abandoned for so long, it is a waste. Looking forward to the project being completed to There is a clean and fresh place for exercise and entertainment," Ms. Minh Anh expressed.
