Plan to arrange residential groups in Long Bien, Hanoi

Hanoi - According to the planned residential group arrangement plan, Long Bien ward will reduce from 37 to 25 residential groups.

Long Bien Ward People's Committee said that the ward currently has an area of 19.15km2, a population of over 70,000 people with nearly 23,000 households, organized into 37 residential groups.

Along with the urbanization process and the rapid development of residential areas, urban areas, and new apartment buildings, many residential groups have had changes in population size and management area, posing the requirement to arrange and consolidate grassroots organizations in accordance with the actual situation.

Long Bien Ward is developing a plan to arrange residential groups according to the principle of ensuring geographical adjacency, convenience in community management and activities; maintaining the stability of residential areas, respecting historical, cultural, religious and religious factors and the specific characteristics of each area.

According to the expected plan, from the current 37 residential groups, they will be arranged into 25 residential groups. In which, keeping the boundaries of 12 residential groups with stable scale or specific elements; implementing the merger and adjustment of the boundaries of the remaining 25 residential groups to form 13 residential groups suitable to population characteristics and management requirements.

Long Bien Ward People's Committee emphasized that this arrangement aims to build a united and stable residential community; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of grassroots government activities and serve the people better and better.
