According to the project, the entire Viet Hung ward will implement the arrangement from the current 62 residential groups to 32 residential groups. The arrangement is carried out on the basis of ensuring that new residential groups have a scale of 700 households or more according to the provisions of law.
Specifically, residential groups in the area are arranged into 4 clusters as follows:
- Viet Hung Cluster: From 11 residential groups arranged to 7 residential groups (expected to be named from Viet Hung 1 to Viet Hung 7).
- Giang Bien Cluster: From 20 residential groups arranged to 9 residential groups (expected to be named from Giang Bien 1 to Giang Bien 9).
- Thuong Thanh Cluster: From 12 residential groups arranged, there are 8 residential groups (expected to be named from Thuong Thanh 1 to Thuong Thanh 8).
- Duc Giang Cluster: From 19 residential groups arranged to 8 residential groups (expected to be named from Duc Giang 1 to Duc Giang 8).
After arrangement, 100% of new residential groups are guaranteed to meet the standards according to regulations.
In which, there are 20 residential groups with a scale of 700 to 1,000 households and 12 residential groups with a scale of over 1,000 households; the largest residential group is expected to include 1,309 households.
Hanoi City People's Committee requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently organize the dissemination and implementation of Directive No. 21/CT-TTg and the direction of the City People's Committee to agencies, units, organizations, villages, and residential groups in the area; proactively report to the Party Committee of communes and wards to lead and direct the unified process of reviewing and developing the Project, organize to collect people's opinions and implement it after it is approved by competent authorities.
Review all existing villages and residential groups, including the number of households, population, managed area, population characteristics, historical and cultural factors, customs, beliefs, religions, infrastructure conditions, cultural institutions, security and order situation, and non-specialized personnel in villages and residential groups.
Develop a Project on arranging villages and residential groups in the area; organize to collect people's opinions in accordance with legal regulations; summarize, receive, and explain people's opinions; complete dossiers to submit to the Commune People's Council for approval before June 30, 2026.
