Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security said that in the period from 12:00 on February 26 to 12:00 on February 27, 2026, the artificial intelligence (AI) application camera system operated by this unit recorded many cases of traffic order and safety violations in Hanoi and the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.

Accordingly, at km20 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, the AI camera system recorded 8,339 vehicles passing through at an average speed of 68km/h.

Through data analysis, the system detected 4 cases of not fastening seat belts. Violations have been notified to vehicle owners for handling according to regulations.

In the inner city of Hanoi, the AI camera system piloted installed at the Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi intersection (Cau Giay ward) automatically detected 16 cases of not wearing helmets; 21 cases of not complying with traffic light signals (motorbikes, motorcycles).

AI cameras on Le Van Luong street recorded 1 case of going in the wrong lane.

All violations have been transferred to the Hanoi City Police and functional units to implement the handling process in accordance with legal regulations.
