On May 31, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that it had rectified MK Holdings Investment Co., Ltd. - the investor of the CT-02 Social Housing Project in An Binh Tan Urban Area - due to allowing people to bring blankets, folding chairs, and tents to wait overnight to submit applications to buy social housing.

According to the Department of Construction, the image of people queuing overnight is spreading in newspapers and social networks, causing offense and not in line with the goal of ensuring publicity and civilization in dossier reception.
Therefore, this agency has requested rectification not only for the CT-02 project but also for other social housing projects in the area. Up to now, overnight queuing has no longer occurred.
Mr. Tran Quang Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province - said that the demand for social housing from people is currently very large. As of March 24, 2026, the whole province has about 10,000 people registering information to buy social housing.

Currently, Khanh Hoa is implementing 13 social housing projects with about 17,500 apartments, basically meeting demand. However, every time the project opens for sale, the number of registration dossiers often exceeds the number of apartments distributed.
According to the provisions of the 2023 Housing Law, in case the number of registration dossiers is more than the number of apartments, a draw must be conducted.
It is expected that in the initial phase, around June 2026, the competition rate at projects with favorable locations or opening for the first application of the year will be high.

The CT-02 social housing project has an area of more than 20,670m2, including 4 15-story towers and 1 basement. The basement is arranged as a parking lot; the 1st and 2nd floors are commercial, service and technical areas; from the 3rd to 15th floors are arranged 936 social housing apartments.
To date, the project has completed the drilling of bored piles and is constructing the basement according to schedule.
The investor has also organized 3 rounds of receiving applications to buy social housing with a total of more than 900 applications.
However, some people reflected that the number of dossier receipt forms issued in registration periods is still limited.
For example, on May 21, the investor only issued about 120 ballots before announcing the completion of the quantity.
People proposed that the investor publicize the process and the number of issuance tickets to create conditions for many subjects to access social housing policies.
