The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, is about 21.7 km long, started at the end of 2022.
The starting point of the project is at Km14+00, Yen Nghia ward; the ending point is at Km38+00 Xuan Mai commune (excluding the section through Chuong My ward from Km19+920 to Km22+220).
The road cross-section is 50 - 60m wide. The road is designed with a speed of 80 - 100 km/h. Synchronous construction of technical infrastructure systems: water supply, drainage, power supply, lighting, sign system, road markings, landscape trees and other items...
The total investment of the project is 9,590 billion VND (including component projects for site clearance and construction investment).

In Phu Nghia commune, the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section passing through the commune has a length of 7.8 km, the recovered area is about over 32 hectares; there are over 1,400 households, individuals, and organizations that must carry out site clearance.
Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among households and individuals in handing over land to implement the project of renovating and upgrading National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section in Phu Nghia commune, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nghia commune has established 5 propaganda groups for site clearance work. At the same time, specific assignments were made to groups in charge of propaganda and mobilization for each household and individual.
In the past time, propaganda teams of the Commune Fatherland Front have directly gone to each household to propagate, mobilize, and grasp each specific circumstance of each family subject to land acquisition for project implementation.
In the spirit of publicity, transparency, and putting people at the center, many existing problems have been gradually resolved.
With persistent and reasonable approaches through organizing dialogue conferences to listen to people's thoughts and aspirations and propagate policies related to compensation, support, and resettlement, it has created consensus among the people.

According to records on April 9, in Doi 1 village, many households voluntarily and exemplarily took the lead in handing over the site to the construction unit.
With a high sense of responsibility, households have proactively collected assets and handed over land, showing consensus and support for the general policy, contributing to spreading a positive atmosphere among the people.
According to statistics, in Nghia Hao and Khe Than villages alone, 193/193 households have handed over land; in which many households voluntarily dismantled works and houses to hand over land with a spirit of urgency and responsibility.
Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee emphasized that the consensus of the people is an important factor for the locality to complete site clearance work, helping the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section to be completed on schedule soon, overcoming the prolonged degradation situation for so many years.
