Avoid exposing the toilet from the main door
Although bathrooms are usually kept clean nowadays, this is still a private area. If you can look directly into this area from the main door, the first feeling when entering the house will be less pleasant, affecting the common space experience.
This arrangement also reduces discreetness, causing inconvenience in daily life. Therefore, it is advisable to design doors in a different direction or use partitions to ensure privacy and harmony for the overall house.
Limit seeing the stove immediately when opening the door
The kitchen area is often associated with cooking, which can generate odors, heat and messyness during use. If the main door opens, you can immediately see the kitchen, living space will easily create a feeling of crampedness, lack of neatness, especially when not cleaned up in time.
In terms of design, the kitchen should be arranged backwards or use counters, cabinets, and light partitions to create a reasonable separation between the living area and the cooking area.
Do not reveal the balcony or window directly
Balconies and windows are places to get light and ventilation, but if you can see straight out from the main door, the inner space will lack privacy and be easily affected by sunlight, strong winds or dust from outside.
Arranging more curtains, partitions or arranging furniture reasonably will help control light, increase discreetness and create a warmer feeling for the house.
