Kien An Ward People's Committee demolished construction works violating land regulations in the Cuu Vien cemetery area of Cuu Vien 1 and Cuu Vien 2 residential groups.
Previously, on July 2, the People's Committee of the ward conducted an inspection and discovered that in the area near the foot of the Cuu Vien cemetery in the Cuu Vien 1 and Cuu Vien 2 residential groups, there were excavations and encroachments on the mountains using mountain soil to construct graves in violation, including: 12 cages, with an average size of each cage of 8m long and 6m wide.
As soon as the violation was discovered, the ward's authorities drew up a record of the violation; no organization or individual claimed to be the investor in constructing the violating project.
On July 3, the People's Committee of the ward issued Notice No. 06/TB-UBND on determining the construction investor, requesting the investor to stop construction in violation at the Cuu Vien cemetery area; at the same time, blocking off the entire violating area.

On July 4, the People's Committee of the ward drew up a record of administrative violations and issued Decision No. 107/QD-KPHQ forcing the implementation of remedial measures in the land sector for cases where no decision was issued to sanction administrative violations.
On that basis, the Ward People's Committee has developed a plan, mobilizing forces and vehicles to participate in demolishing the illegal construction on the morning of July 5, restoring the original state before the violation in accordance with the provisions of law. The demolition process took place and was completed according to plan, ensuring safety for the forces on duty.
