At the inspection, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu assessed that the construction progress of the Khanh Hoa CDC project was very slow and the disbursement rate was low. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee severely criticized the Department of Health, construction contractors and related departments that caused delays. Leaders of the Department of Health will be responsible to the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province if they do not complete the disbursement of capital from the above projects.
The locality also requested the Department of Health to work with the construction contractor to adjust the detailed project implementation schedule, requiring the contractor to commit to the implementation schedule, have technical solutions, and ensure completion of the project. Construction and disbursement of central capital, no later than December 31, 2024; Review the capacity of construction contractors in bidding packages that do not meet the committed schedule to consider and take handling measures according to regulations; Urgently bid for equipment supply packages.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu also requested the Chairman of Dien Khanh District People's Committee to direct and urgently complete site clearance for the remaining area of about 1,215.2 m2 to hand over to the Department of Health before August 15, 2024 for implementation. Start construction to ensure project implementation progress.
In addition, the Ninh Hoa Medical Center Project and Van Ninh Medical Center Project also share a similar situation when construction progress is slow; disbursement rate by volume is low.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu also requested the Department of Health to work with the contractor to adjust the detailed construction schedule of the project.
CDC Khanh Hoa headquarters project was built with a total amount of 160 billion VND, of which the central budget is 105 billion VND and the local budget is 55 billion VND.
In terms of scale, the new CDC headquarters will be located in Dien An commune, Dien Khanh district. This location is located on Vo Nguyen Giap street connecting Nha Trang city with Dien Khanh district, convenient traffic.
During the construction of CDC Khanh Hoa's new headquarters, the locality will build a 5-storey main block + 1 technical floor and a secondary block including a guard house; electrical technician; wastewater treatment station; garage...; At the same time, invest in facilities and medical equipment.
The project is invested by Khanh Hoa Department of Health. The construction unit is the Joint Venture Contractor of CDC Khanh Hoa Company. The project construction time is 210 days (May 30, 2024 - December 26, 2024).
