The Premier League round 25 has ended with many dramatic developments.
Liverpool are still leading the table with a gap of 7 points over Arsenal after a hard-fought victory over Wolves. For their part, the Gunners are actively chasing. They have had 3 consecutive victories after defeating Leicester in this round.
The race to the top 4 is also very tense as Bournemouth emerged as an interesting candidate. They climbed to 5th place after winning 3/4 of their most recent matches. In contrast, Chelsea and dropped after both lost heavily in round 24.
Man City is currently holding 4th place but the gap with the chasing group is quite fragile.
In the bottom half of the rankings, Tottenham took 12th place after defeating Man United with a score of 1-0. Meanwhile, the Red Devils have dropped to 15th place and are only 12 points above the relegation zone. They have lost 12 games, winning just eight in the Premier League.
That is the most losses in the first 25 rounds of a season, since 1973-1974 (losing 13). That year was also the last time the Red Devils were relegated from the top flight.
