Will Liverpool let Mohamed Salah leave or not?
Letting Mohamed Salah leave in the middle of the season is probably still unimaginable for Liverpool, even just a few weeks ago. However, if the relationship between him and the head coach cannot be recovered, Liverpool may have no choice but to listen to the offers for this striker.
Salah has played 1,119 minutes out of a total of 1,440 possible minutes since the start of the season, but he is clearly unhappy with only playing as a supporter. And even as the pressure on Arne Slot's future continues to increase in the coming weeks, the club's ability to side with a player ready to make it difficult for any coach to be given the playing time he believes he deserves is very low.
A source added that the Kop board were aware that fans could be upset with Salah for his "not Liverpool-style" statements. However, they also understand that publicly cutting off relationships or criticizing him is inappropriate, so the club's goal is to resolve things calmly and balancedly.

However, the general atmosphere at Liverpool shows that Salah has put Slot in a very difficult situation every time he considers putting him in the current squad.
Where will Mohamed Salah go?
The clearest answer to Salah's next destination is the Saudi Pro League, with Al Ittihad and Al Hilal named by many sources as clubs closely monitoring the Egyptian striker's situation.
The Saudi Pro League is almost certain to be willing to pay Salah the same salary - or even higher - to convince him to join the Middle East. However, it is not yet known whether Salah will accept leaving European football, especially when he believes he still has much to contribute at the highest level.
If he wants to prove that Liverpool " removed" him too early, Salah also understands that going to Saudi Arabia could have the opposite effect. However, in reality, there are very few clubs in the world that are capable of meeting the treatment he desires.
Sources say Salah's agent has contacted a number of Serie A clubs - the only major league in Europe - ready to consider recruiting him. Another source also revealed that Paris Saint-Germain, despite previous concerns, will not be pursuing Salah unless he becomes a free player.
One thing is for sure, Liverpool will have to start preparing for life without Salah, sooner or later. Finding a replacement is all but impossible, but Slot's side are still forced to consider options to address the lack of pace and ability to make a breakthrough on the wings. Especially since they have invested heavily in the front line with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike.

Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Antoine Semenyo - a rising winger of AFC Bournemouth. The 25-year-old has scored six Premier League goals this season and has a release clause worth around £60 million, effective from January next year.
This is not a strange name to sporting director Richard Hughes, who recruited Semenyo to Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023. In addition, Semenyo will not participate in the upcoming African Football Cup because Myanmar did not qualify, making him a suitable target in terms of both expertise and personnel stability.
Liverpool have also been linked with Rodrygo (Real Madrid) and Bradley Barcola (Paris Saint-Germain) in the summer of 2025. However, interest in both players has now declined.
