The VFF General Secretary affirmed that VFF and the hospital will closely coordinate with the coaching staff and doctors at the team and club to create the best conditions for this player during the recovery process.
Sharing about the treatment of player Nguyen Xuan Son, hospital doctors said that the striker of Nam Dinh is recovering well and actively. This striker will be designed a training plan at home and closely monitored the recovery process to ensure the ability to return to training and competition.
According to schedule, Xuan Son will be discharged from the hospital and continue his recovery at home from tomorrow (January 24).
This is not the first time Xuan Son and his family have celebrated Tet in Vietnam, but this year it is even more special. He has become a Vietnamese citizen after naturalization.
In addition, the Brazilian striker also contributed greatly to helping the Vietnamese team win the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship. Xuan Son also received the titles of "Top scorer" and "Best player" of the tournament.
