Can watching movies trigger a heart attack?
According to Hidustan Times, in this man, the possible cause of a heart attack was due to arrhythmia leading to death. People with underlying heart problems may die suddenly due to excessive stress or excitement
The cause may be due to ruptured plaque in the coronary artery or due to arrhythmia due to excessive arousal. These types of deaths occur during exciting matches or situations, not just while watching movies, says Dr Pradeep Kumar D, a cardiologist at Aster CMI Hospital (India).
Heart attack can cause cardiac arrest and patients can also suffer from sudden death due to heart failure. Heart pain can be caused by clogged arteries, especially when there is high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, high smoking, obesity or genetic problems.
Dr. Sanjeev Gera, doctor, Head of the Department of Cardiology, Fortis Hospital (India), said that when stressed, people with high blood pressure such as in this case, the arteries of the heart can break and lead to sudden cardiac arrest, according to Hidustan Times.
For people with risk factors, all of these can cause the development of small blockages in the heart arteries, which can rupture under stressful conditions and cause a heart attack.
Heart failure can also be caused by a heart attack or arrhythmia. Acute stress, mental stress, and physical stress can all cause arrhythmia.
Sudden arrhythmia can cause a heart attack. One condition is coronary artery Cup disease. The arteries that supply blood to the heart can suddenly cut off or rupture, which can cause a heart attack, sudden cardiac arrest and lead to death, Dr. Gera added.
