On November 16, in Da Nang City, the State Bank of Vietnam held a ceremony to launch a special emulation movement for the entire banking industry to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, celebrate major national holidays in 2025 and the Sports Festival of the State Bank Trade Union system.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong attended the opening ceremony.
The emulation content includes two main contents: Organizing the study and dissemination of President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation associated with emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister and the Governor of the State Bank; Emulating to excellently complete the tasks of the banking sector in 2024 and 2025.
In particular, the emulation content is specifically developed, suitable for each unit in the banking sector, including: Units under the State Bank; credit institutions, foreign bank branches and Vietnam Deposit Insurance; units under the training sector; mass organizations; Standing agencies of associations and enterprises managed by the State Bank.
Responding to the Plan to launch this special emulation movement, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union organized the Sports Festival of the State Bank Trade Union system with the participation of nearly 900 athletes who are union members and employees of 64 athlete delegations from the Central State Bank Trade Union and 63 State Bank branches in provinces and cities, participating in competitions in 5 events: Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Pickleball and Tug of War.
The Sports Festival is a big festival, honoring the spirit of solidarity, exchange and promoting the cultural and sports movement in the Banking industry, an opportunity for officers, union members and employees to exercise, strengthen solidarity and cohesion between units, as well as promote the spirit of competition in healthy sports activities.
