The National Defense Trade Union said that Economic - National Defense Team 717 (Corps 15) organized the launch of Workers' Month and responded to the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026. This is a unit doing it first to draw experience throughout the army.
Attending the launching ceremony were Major General Hoang Van Sy, Commander of Corps 15; Colonel Khuat Ba Cao, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Commander of Corps 15; Colonel Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Head of the National Defense Trade Union; leaders of agencies and units in Corps 15, representatives of Party committees and local authorities, along with a large number of cadres, employees, workers of the unit and people in the area.
With the theme "Vietnamese workers innovate and improve labor productivity", Workers' Month is launched and implemented by Economic - National Defense Union 717 with many meaningful and practical contents such as "May Dialogue"; forum "Union members contribute ideas to build Vietnam Trade Unions in the new era"; program "Thank you workers", "Healthy to work and produce"; organizing activities to honor typical workers, skilled rubber mining contests at all levels; contests for topics, initiatives, technical improvements, and excellent safety and hygiene workers at all levels...
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Hoang Van Sy, Commander of Corps 15, requested Party committees, commanders at all levels, and trade union organizations throughout the Corps to pay attention to leadership and focus resources to comprehensively and effectively implement the identified contents, focusing on a number of issues.
One of them is propaganda to raise awareness to all officials, trade union members, and workers about the purpose, meaning, and activities of Workers' Month; about the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class in general and the tradition of workers, the National Defense Trade Union, the tradition of the 15th Corps in particular; the spirit of solidarity and attachment to the people of ethnic groups in the area.
Promote and actively respond to emulation movements launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the General Department of Politics, the National Defense Trade Union and the Corps and units. Especially the movement "Good labor - Creative labor", the movement "Practicing skills, competing for skilled workers"; "Promoting initiatives, technical improvements"... Ensuring occupational safety and health, traffic safety and safety in all activities with the determination to achieve the highest goals. Promptly honor, commend and replicate typical examples in emulation movements, especially typical examples of promoting innovation initiatives to improve labor productivity and product quality.
Do a good job of building strong grassroots trade unions, propagating and mobilizing 100% of workers to participate in trade union organizations. Promote the role and responsibility of trade union organizations towards workers, create trust and be a bridge between unit leaders and commanders and workers, contributing to creating overall strength, successfully implementing the key political tasks of the unit in particular, and the Corps in general.
After the Launching Ceremony, units continue to direct the remaining grassroots trade unions to organize well the activities of Workers' Month and respond to the Action Month on occupational safety and health, in accordance with the actual conditions of agencies and units, ensuring practicality, efficiency, safety and thrift.
