Wall painting is one of the important completion stages, directly deciding the aesthetics of the house space.
However, housewives also need to pay attention during the wall painting stages to avoid the situation of the house walls being patchy, peeling or colorless after a short time.
Skipping the step of handling wall surfaces
This is one of the common mistakes that often cause households to have problems such as peeling, bulging, mold. If the wall surface is not properly treated (still covered with dirt, oil, peeling old paint, or rough surface), it will reduce the stickiness of the new paint layer.
The pre-painting process requires a complete cleaning of the wall surface, scraping off old paint patches, cracking cracks, removing grit and making sure the walls are completely dry before painting.
Do not use paint
Some cases often ignore the paint to save costs and time, but this is a wrong decision. The paint will bond the wall surface and the coating, helping to be resistant to alkaline (the material in cement causes discoloration), increasing the strength of the glue, helping the paint coating to be more standard and even.
Lack of paint and coating will quickly deteriorate and consume more due to paint-onsulated walls.
Unstable paint rolls
Wall painting is not uniform in color, creating different deep, pale lines or stripes that are often largely influenced by wall painting techniques. This error often occurs when the rulo (roller) is dipped in paint too much or too little, creating uneven handles when rolling, or rolling not in a certain order.
Therefore, make sure the paint on the rulo is just enough, rolled evenly and with the letter "M" or "W" to help paint the entire surface evenly before rolling the parallel lines to complete. Continuously rolling when the front paint is still wet (wet-on-wet) also helps avoid creating knee joints on top of each other.
Choosing poor quality products and tools
The quality of paint and construction tools directly affects the final result. Using paint of unknown origin and low coating will make wall paint color easy to fly, stick dirty...
Similarly, a poor quality pineapple or rulo can leave streaks and threads on the paint surface, which will reduce the aesthetics of the living space.
