On May 6, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province said that the unit had requested the Provincial Labor Federation and the Department of Health to send members to participate in the provincial-level occupational accident investigation team for 5 recent cases.
According to the Department of Home Affairs, recently in the province, there have been 5 labor accidents, killing 7 people. The incidents occurred in many fields such as construction and railway.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of April 5, at the electrolysis plant of a metallurgical company in Nhan Co commune, during the construction and installation of a sewer system, a landslide occurred, burying Mr. T.N. T (born 2000) to death.

Two other railway-related accidents occurred in the early morning of February 7th and May 1st on the North-South route. One incident killed railway patrol worker N.V.P, who was hit by train SE2. After that, Mr. L.D. H, a railway repair and maintenance worker, was also hit and killed by cargo train HH7 while on duty.
On the morning of April 21, Ms. N.T. T. L, a worker riding a motorbike on DT766 route through hamlet 1B, Tra Tan commune, was hit and killed on the spot by a bus traveling in the same direction behind.

In particular, on the morning of April 8, in the internal road area of Ta Zon Joint Stock Company's stone mine, hamlet 2 - Ham Thuan commune, a particularly serious labor accident occurred when a truck transporting materials fell from above, killing 3 people on board and injuring 1 person.
After being established, the provincial-level occupational accident investigation team will conduct investigations of each case in accordance with legal regulations.

Previously, in mid-April, the Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation to launch the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2026.
At the event, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs emphasized that the requirements are not only to ensure human safety but also to modernize labor safety management.
However, the reality of labor accidents is still complicated, causing serious consequences, posing an urgent requirement to tighten management and improve the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the area.
