Attending the program were Ms. Trinh Thi Thoa - President of Vinh Phuc Provincial Labor Federation; leaders of Vinh Phuc Industrial Parks Union; Ms. Ma Thi Hien - General Director of Vinh Phuc International Hospital; Ms. Ly Thi Hanh - Director of Vinh Phuc International Hospital and 100 female workers representing 1,000 female workers in the province's industrial parks participating in breast cancer screening.
According to Ms. Trinh Thi Thoa, health check-ups for union members and workers have been identified in the Resolution of the 15th Congress of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Trade Union with the goal of providing health check-ups for 5,000 workers annually.
The free breast cancer screening and examination program for female workers in industrial zones aims to contribute to caring for and supporting female union members to gain more knowledge, proactively care for their own health and have timely treatment when detecting the disease.
At the same time, we hope that businesses and employers will continue to pay attention and coordinate with the Trade Union to actively care about the health, material and spiritual life of workers.
Participating in the Program, female workers will be examined and consulted by doctors of Vinh Phuc International Hospital on obstetrics and gynecology; have breast and thyroid ultrasounds and perform tests to assess blood fat levels, assess the level of lipid metabolism disorders in the blood; screen for breast cancer, a disease with a high rate in women from pre-menopause; assess the level of liver cell damage...
The program takes place from October 6 to 31. According to the plan, more than 1,000 female union members and workers are expected to register for cancer screening and testing.
