The conference to share experiences in developing the Party among workers organized by the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor listened to many valuable presentations, focusing on the role of Party committees, challenges and solutions in introducing and fostering outstanding union members, as well as models and emulation movements to create a source for Party development.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Chung - President of the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the whole province currently has 61 grassroots Party organizations in enterprises, with 841 Party members.
From 2018 to present, trade unions at all levels have introduced 467 outstanding union members as workers and 264 comrades have been admitted to the Party - this is a vivid testament to the active participation of trade unions at all levels in Party building.
However, in addition to the achieved results, the work of developing Party members as exemplary workers still has many difficulties such as: workers working shifts, having less time to study Party resolutions; limited political awareness, concerns about affecting income and obstacles from business owners.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor recommends focusing on a number of key contents such as: objectively assessing the good and bad aspects in the work of discovering, training, and introducing outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting.

The analysis further clarifies barriers and problems in mechanisms, policies, organization and coordination in admitting party members who are workers. Propose models and solutions to innovate trade union methods of operation to discover and foster Party development resources among workers.
At this event, the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor presented 20 gifts to union members; 30 scholarships to children of union members with difficult family circumstances, demonstrating the companionship and sharing of the trade union organization with workers in the area.
