In the late afternoon of January 31, after finishing work, the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Cua Y A Chau Industrial Co., Ltd. (Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a 0 VND Tet market program for workers.
The program is organized at 2 facilities in Binh Co and Tan Hiep wards. About 1,500 workers benefited, of which about 1,350 are union members and workers working at Asia Door Technology Co., Ltd. and 150 are workers and people in difficult circumstances renting rooms in Tan Hiep and Binh Co wards.
Participating in the 0 VND fair, workers are given vouchers to buy many items such as: rice, dried fish, fish sauce, MSG, cooking oil, sugar, cakes, coffee,...

Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Cua Y A Chau Technology Co., Ltd. said that recently the increase in living costs has affected the lives of workers living in rented rooms. In addition, a part of workers do not have overtime, and their income is also low. In order to share difficulties with workers, the grassroots trade union has proposed that the company sponsor funds to organize the "0-dong Tet Market". Each worker will be issued a voucher to receive goods worth about nearly 600,000 VND.
I have noticed recently that some other companies have few orders, workers do not have overtime, and their lives are still tight. Meanwhile, during Tet, workers need to spend and shop more. Therefore, the company and the grassroots trade union have organized this program for workers at the company and also for workers in difficult circumstances outside. Through the program, we want to share love with workers who are still facing many difficulties" - Ms. Le Thi Huong said.

Going to the 0-dong market, workers are all happy and excited, feeling respected and shared.
My husband and I are far from home and living in Ho Chi Minh City, so there are still many difficulties. Thanks to the trade union organizing many care activities, life is also less difficult. I find this 0 VND Tet market program very meaningful both materially and spiritually. We feel respected and shared. We thank the company and the grassroots trade union a lot" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (52 years old, from Dong Thap, working in the company) expressed.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh (41 years old, from An Giang) said that working at another company, in recent months there has been no overtime, so her income is not enough to cover expenses. "Today I am very happy to receive this gift. My husband and I can live on this gift for nearly 1 month. Thank you very much to the trade union and the company. I hope that in the near future, the company will continue to share with workers in difficult circumstances like us" - Ms. Hanh shared.
