On the morning of April 29, at Lam Thao Suppe fossile and Chemical Joint Stock Company, the Vietnam Trade Union held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025.
Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Minister of Industry and Trade attended and directed.
Also attending were leaders of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, leaders of Phu Tho province, representatives of enterprises and nearly 200 outstanding workers and laborers.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Vietnam Trade Union for organizing Workers' Month with many practical and meaningful activities towards workers.
He emphasized that in the context of the country entering a new era of development, the working class needs to continue to promote its pioneering role, innovation, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic goals.
The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor suggested that the Vietnam Trade Union focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as promoting propaganda on occupational safety and hygiene; taking care of the lives and jobs of workers; launching a movement to compete for initiatives and improve techniques; accompanying businesses to stabilize production and develop sustainably.
Within the framework of the program, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang and Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien directly visited the traditional house and production line of Lam Thao Suppe Supply and Chemicals Joint Stock Company, encouraged workers; visited welfare booths for workers, where essential products are provided at preferential prices, to practically care for the lives of union members and workers.
Also on this occasion, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade presented many gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, supported the "Union Shelter" and honored outstanding workers in the whole industry, launched emulation movements to build a safe working environment and a culture of labor safety.
With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneered the new era" and "Strengthening the evaluation, identification of risks, risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", the working month and the month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 promise to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere in the whole industry and industry, contributing to the spirit of solidarity and development.
