News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on September 20 said that the City Labor Federation has just held a meeting of the Commune and Ward Trade Union Committee and organized the implementation of Trade Union congresses at all levels, towards the 1st Da Nang City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Le Van Dai, Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said: In the past time, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation has established 27 commune and ward unions on the basis of merging administrative units, assigning the management of 1,385 grassroots unions, with 106,037 union members.
After 2 months of operation, the Commune and Ward Trade Unions have gradually stabilized and implemented a number of key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025. The grassroots trade union has had a clear change in organization, awareness and implementation of tasks.
Outstanding activities of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions in the past 2 months are organizing thematic conferences and activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, supporting union members in difficult circumstances.
Launch emulation movements among union members to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security, and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, aiming at local development with many vibrant and practical activities.
Guiding grassroots trade unions to organize activities to care for the lives of union members such as organizing "Union Meals", periodic health check-ups for union members and team building activities, giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, and lucky draw activities.
Synthesize, review, compare data, receive union members and grassroots unions. Visit and work with grassroots trade unions to grasp the situation of activities, labor relations and problems when organizing trade union activities at the unit.
Propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots unions. Encourage union members to participate in volunteer activities in the community such as: donating blood for humanity, having a loving breakfast; organizing cultural and sports activities to attract union members to participate.
Review and guide grassroots unions and grassroots unions to change union seals. Organize a training conference on the Trade Union Law 2024, the Labor Law, the negotiation process, signing of collective labor agreements and the responsibilities of grassroots trade unions for comrades who are grassroots trade union officials.'
Propaganda and introduction of enterprises to participate in the "Outstanding enterprises for workers in 2025" Award; selection of Enterprises to propose the City Labor Federation to reward Enterprises that take good care of workers' lives in 2025. Considering and proposing to reward typical advanced examples to award at the City Fatherland Front Emulation Congress and the National Patriotic Emulation Congress for workers, civil servants and laborers.
Signing the coordination regulations with the Social Insurance on implementing policies on social insurance, health insurance, the Labor Code and the Trade Union Law and organizing dialogue activities with union members and workers.
