As a result of implementing the 2023 - 2025 political tasks, the activities of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union have many intertwined advantages and difficulties. However, under the close and timely direction of the Party, the Government, and the Trade Unions at all levels, along with the solidarity and consensus of all leaders, cadres, and employees from the corporation to the grassroots, the activities of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union and the Trade Union have stabilized, successfully carrying out the set political tasks.
During the period, the Trade Unions at all levels have closely coordinated with the professional team to take good care of workers, the average income of the whole group in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 15 million VND, an increase of more than 20% compared to the beginning of the term; 100% of workers have paid all types of insurance according to regulations; 100% of units have signed collective labor agreements...
Regarding social security work, during the period, the group spent more than 80 billion VND. Typically, supporting over 4,700 families of workers in difficult circumstances, 350 children of workers with disabilities, and some workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases... with a total amount of over 7 billion VND/year.
On the occasion of Workers' Month, the group has many activities towards workers. Typically, organize Union Meals for nearly 30,000 union members, with an amount of more than 2.6 billion VND; The group's Social Security Fund supports more than 12 billion VND for activities to care for the Lunar New Year, reward young students, support the construction of 30 houses under the Chemical Shelter program, Union Shelter...
Units in the group also contributed to support people in disaster-affected provinces with a total amount of tens of billions of VND...
Under the leadership of the Trade Union organization, emulation movements, especially the technical innovation and innovation movement, continue to spread widely. The whole group has had 4,370 initiatives applied in practice, bringing a profit value of 322 billion VND. Many outstanding works and topics worth tens of billions of VND have been recognized and honored, with 44 individuals being awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
In the coming period, the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union at all levels set a goal of "ensuring regular and stable jobs for workers with a level of income not reduced compared to the period of 2023 - 2025", while maintaining and improving the indicators of labor contracts and collective labor agreements.
The Congress identified 9 key tasks, notably innovating communication, education, building a team of employees; caring for legal rights and social activities; organizing emulation movements, encouraging workers to participate in completing production and business tasks; promoting the "Green - Clean - Beautiful" movement, ensuring labor safety; improving the quality of trade union activities and strongly implementing women's work activities.
With a high spirit of solidarity and unity, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, term XII, 2023 - 2028, consisting of 24 people. With high prestige, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, term XII, Ms. Ho Thi Mai Huong continues to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union.
