News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on August 1st said: The City Labor Federation organizes the awarding of scholarships to children of union members and workers living in the Workers' Housing of Hoa Cam Industrial Park.
At the program, the City Labor Federation awarded 22 scholarships for overcoming difficulties, each worth 1 million VND, to students who are children of union members and workers living at Hoa Cam Industrial Park Workers' Housing.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the program to commend, reward and award scholarships to children of workers, civil servants, and laborers who achieve excellent results and overcome difficulties in their studies is an activity maintained annually by the City Labor Federation to encourage and motivate them to continue their efforts in studying, and at the same time share and support union member and laborer families in difficult circumstances.
In the 2025–2026 school year, the City Labor Federation spent nearly 490 million VND to award 437 scholarships, each including 1 million VND in cash, certificates and gifts.
In which, 142 students who are children of workers, civil servants, and laborers achieved excellent results in international exams, national high school excellent student exams and first prize in the 9th and 12th grade excellent student exams at the city level were commended; and 295 scholarships for overcoming difficulties were awarded to children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances.
According to Mr. Le Van Dai, directly going to the Workers' Housing of Hoa Cam Industrial Park to award scholarships to children of union members and workers shows the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization, contributing to encouraging them to continue to be obedient, study well, and rise up in life.
