In the last days of May, the delegation of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) is urgently completing preparations, ready to depart to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
The Congress is expected to take place from June 3 to 5 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), with the participation of 780 outstanding delegates, representing nearly 10 million union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ) nationwide.
This is an important political event of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization, aimed at evaluating the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Congress; and at the same time determining directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2026-2031 term; determining solutions to build a strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements of national development in the new period.
The Congress is also a forum for union members and workers nationwide to reflect their thoughts and aspirations; propose practical solutions on employment, life, income and legitimate and lawful rights in the context of digital transformation, international integration and organizational structure arrangement.
The delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union was headed by Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.
Before the congress, the delegation focused on completing the content of participation, and at the same time strengthened grasping the situation, thoughts, and aspirations of union members and workers at the grassroots level to promptly reflect practical issues to the Trade Union organization.
Mr. Ha Duy Trung emphasized that this is not only an honor but also a great responsibility of the Provincial Trade Union towards union members and workers throughout the province.
The delegation of Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union will attend with the highest sense of responsibility, actively contributing opinions to the documents and action program of the new term.
We will bring the voice of union members and workers from the "great forest touching the blue sea" to the Congress, especially the thoughts and aspirations of workers in remote and isolated areas, ethnic minority areas, industrial and service and fishing areas. Through this, propose many practical solutions to improve the lives, jobs and rights of union members and workers," Mr. Ha Duy Trung said.
Also participating in the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - Standing Vice President of Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Duc Long - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; along with representatives of commune and ward trade unions and typical grassroots trade union officials.
With a sense of responsibility, the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union Delegation expects to make positive contributions to the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time spread a new atmosphere to union members and workers throughout the province in the new development stage.
