As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on the morning of December 27, 2025, a charity group of 18 people (including the driver) traveled by passenger car with license plate 29B-614.06 from Hanoi to Ta Ghenh village school point belonging to Hoa Mi Kindergarten, Phinh Ho commune, Lao Cai province.
At about 7:40 am, at km35 of the road connecting National Highway 32 with Provincial Road 174 (belonging to Mu Thap village, Phinh Ho commune), an accident occurred.
The incident killed 9 people and seriously injured 8 others.
Faced with the great losses of the victims and their families, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union and philanthropists promptly shared and encouraged both materially and spiritually.
In this support phase, 8 patients being treated at Viet Duc Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi) were awarded 2 million VND, from funding from the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union and contributions from trade union members.
