On April 29, Nghia Lo Trade Union coordinated with the Ward People's Committee and the Central Ward Occupational Safety and Health Steering Committee to organize a launching ceremony to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of local leaders, specialized agencies, businesses, cooperatives and a large number of workers and laborers in the area.
Currently, Trung Tam ward has 94 businesses, 27 cooperatives and 406 business households, creating jobs for thousands of workers. This is the core force in local socio-economic development, and also plays an important role in implementing regulations on occupational safety and health.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health are peak periods to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers; and at the same time enhance the responsibility of levels, sectors, and businesses in ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights of workers.
In 2026, the program is implemented with the theme: "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and hazards and proactive measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace". Accordingly, activities will focus on legal propaganda, strengthening inspection and supervision at enterprises, and raising awareness of preventing work accidents and occupational diseases.
The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of coordination regulations between businesses and cooperatives in ensuring labor safety and hygiene; launching the emulation movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor", building a green - clean - beautiful working environment.

On this occasion, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union presented 20 gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.
These gifts are not only of material significance but also timely encouragement, adding motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and stick with the business.
Through the launching ceremony, the trade union organization continues to affirm its role as a bridge between workers and businesses and the government, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
