The last two days of the holiday period (from May 2 - 5), the temperature increases slightly to 30 - 33 degrees C, still relatively pleasant. Note, on the last day of the holiday period (May 3), the Northern region is likely to have showers and thunderstorms again in the late afternoon and night" - Ms. Cham added.
Representatives of the Weather Forecasting Department said that in general, the Northern region will have a holiday with little rain, cool weather, favorable for people's outdoor activities, especially on the last day of the holiday, you need to pay attention to the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and night. Rain at this time poses a risk of dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
As for the Central region, Ms. Cham said that the weather forecast in general will be dry, with little rain, and sunny days.
Especially in the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city, on April 30 and May 1, the weather will be cool with the highest daily temperature only fluctuating from 28 - 31 degrees C. The remaining temperature in the Central region is commonly from 31 - 34 degrees C. Especially on May 3, the last day of the holiday period, local heat will still appear in some places with temperatures above 35 degrees C. The weather is quite favorable for sea tourism activities, especially in the South Central Coast region" - Ms. Cham analyzed the weather developments in the Central region.
The Central Highlands region's main weather during the holiday is still in the late afternoon and evening with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day, the highest daily temperature is commonly from 30 - 33 degrees C, in some places above 33 degrees C.
In the Southern region, hot weather is forecast to last until April 30 with the highest daily temperature fluctuating from 35 - 36 degrees C. Starting from the evening of April 30 to the end of the holiday, in the late afternoon and evening, showers and scattered thunderstorms will also appear in the Southern region. From May 1 to the end of the holiday, the temperature in the Southern region will also decrease, hot weather will only occur locally with temperatures in some places above 35 degrees C" - Ms. Cham provided more information.
