News from the Hoi An Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on April 25 said: The Trade Union coordinated with the Ward People's Committee to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 with the participation of local leaders, representatives of departments, branches, unions and a large number of union members and workers in the area.
At the ceremony, representatives of the leaders of Hoi An Ward People's Committee launched a peak emulation campaign among workers, civil servants, and laborers, emphasizing the significance of Workers' Month associated with the Action Month on occupational safety and health.
The launching content focuses on honoring the values of workers, raising awareness of compliance with labor safety laws, improving working conditions, and better caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers.
At the same time, continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement, contributing to improving productivity, quality and work efficiency.
Responding to the program, representatives of businesses in the area expressed their determination to accompany the government and trade union organization in caring for workers, building a safe, friendly and sustainable working environment.
At the ceremony, businesses also signed commitments to well implement regulations on labor safety and hygiene in the presence of leaders of the Ward People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward, the Trade Union and the Ward Police.
On this occasion, the Hoi An Ward Trade Union presented 50 gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND.
