On April 11, the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union (HCMC) coordinated with the Reproductive Health - Family Planning Clinic (HCMC Population Sub-Department) and a number of related units to organize health check-ups; communication, health counseling for female workers working in the area.
Taking place on April 11 and 12 according to the plan, on April 11, hundreds of female workers gathered at the headquarters of Rach Dua Ward Health Center for health checks. Among them, female workers were checked and examined for obstetrics and gynecology. Depending on the actual condition, female workers were also prescribed ultrasound, cervical cancer cell screening,... and free medication.
In addition, female workers after health check-ups are also informed and consulted on many important contents such as: health care, reproductive health; family planning; how to recognize and prevent some sexually transmitted diseases in a timely manner; some policies and regulations on population...

According to the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union, through free health check-ups for female workers, it will help detect gynecological diseases and other health problems that may affect the reproductive health - family planning of female workers, in order to have timely handling measures.
In addition, communication and counseling will update information and knowledge about health care, how to prevent sexually transmitted diseases,... contributing to improving and enhancing the quality of life of female workers and population work in the area.
