On the evening of February 7, Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum vay, Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026" at Ben Cat Labor Culture Center (Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of Ben Cat ward and trade union leaders of communes and wards in Ben Cat and Bau Bang areas. More than 500 workers from the North of Ho Chi Minh City attended the program.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, to care for union members and workers, Area Management Task Force No. 9 has reviewed and summarized information about union members to deploy "Trade Union Tet Market" shopping vouchers. At the same time, summarize the needs for supporting vehicles to return home for Tet for union members and workers; Proceed to allocate and award bus and train tickets to union members in Northern Ho Chi Minh City who have not returned home for Tet for many consecutive years.

Notably, the Task Force advised on the allocation of gifts to give to 22,089 workers in difficult circumstances during Tet with a total value of 22.1 billion VND. In the past week, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation transferred money to support 21,696 workers in difficult circumstances (1 million VND per person).
In addition, Area Management Working Group No. 9 has coordinated to organize visits and timely support for union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and labor accidents.
At the program, the working group presented support to 2 workers in particularly difficult circumstances (each gift worth 5 million VND); presented 100 gifts to students in the "Tet for Children" program with a total value of 120 million VND. At the same time, presented support to 393 workers in difficult circumstances (1 million VND each).
The organizing committee also presented symbolic boards supporting 169 train tickets, 44 air tickets, 489 bus tickets to trade unions of communes and wards under Area Management Team No. 9.
