On February 28th, the Trade Union of Tra Vinh University organized a cooking contest with the theme "Men in the kitchen", attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate. The activity took place in a lively and practical atmosphere towards March 8th.
The contest aims to review the meaning of International Women's Day March 8, Hai Ba Trung Uprising Day and International Happiness Day March 20; and at the same time show the concern of the Party Committee, Board of Directors and Trade Union for female officials and employees.
According to regulations, each team consists of two male contestants, preparing a dining table for 6 people for 120 minutes. The menu includes appetizers, main dishes, soup or stir-fried dishes and desserts, ensuring nutrition and food safety.

A total of 28 teams participated from departmental trade unions and affiliated trade union groups. Many teams prepared carefully, presented beautifully, and gave meaningful presentations about the message of sharing and love in the family.
As a result, the first prize belonged to Trade Union Group No. 1; the second prize was awarded to Trade Union Group No. 12; the third prize belonged to the Trade Union of the Technical & Technology School Department. The Organizing Committee also awarded consolation prizes and movement prizes.
Through the contest, the school's Trade Union creates conditions for male union members to exchange and learn from experience, contributing to building a united and equal working environment, spreading the image of men sharing family matters in the new era.
