According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at Le Mon Industrial Park, Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province, traffic infrastructure is seriously degraded. Many roads are damaged, covered in dust, affecting thousands of workers and laborers.

Here, it is not difficult to encounter potholes and craters appearing densely on many roads. Notably, some road sections have "turned" into ponds of water tens of cm deep, making it difficult for vehicles to move, even unable to pass through.
According to many workers working at this industrial park, the above situation has been going on for many years but has not been overcome or repaired. This makes it difficult for thousands of workers and laborers to travel.

When it's sunny, dust flies everywhere, when it rains, it's muddy and muddy. Every time we move, we have to be careful, because just a little carelessness is very easy to fall" - a worker said.
Ms. N.T. V. A, a worker at Sun Jade Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., said that the road behind the company has seriously deteriorated, with dense potholes and craters, causing traffic unsafety.

On rainy days, when the road surface is flooded, workers cannot recognize dangerous areas, and are forced to move onto the sidewalk or take detours, posing a very high risk of accidents. In fact, many cases of workers slipping and falling during work have occurred" - Ms. A. shared.
Regarding the situation of roads in Le Mon Industrial Park being heavily damaged, at the dialogue conference between Thanh Hoa provincial leaders and workers, held on May 16, workers also proposed that the province and functional sectors soon fix and repair them.

Explaining the above incident, a representative of the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Management Board of Thanh Hoa province said that Le Mon Industrial Park was invested and built in 1999, and so far many roads have deteriorated.
The reason why roads have not been repaired is that the current infrastructure fee is too low, only about 0.1 USD/m2/year. The main source of funding meets small maintenance and repairs, and there are not enough resources to synchronously renovate the transportation system.

Regarding solutions, the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Authority of Thanh Hoa province has reported to the Provincial People's Committee, proposing to adjust service unit prices and infrastructure usage fees to have more capital to upgrade roads.
