According to Mr. Chinh, working on April 30 holiday, his income is 3 times as much as usual, expected to increase by about 1.4 million VND and an additional 200,000 VND in holiday bonuses. For workers in other groups, their holiday income is about 1 million VND.

Sharing more, Mr. Chinh said that he is working day shifts. If you work at night on holidays, your income can be up to 1.7 million VND or more. Because nighttime is calculated at 90% higher than during the day.
"The company will still work through the 1.5 holiday to ensure the export progress. However, the company only allows registration for one of the two days off to work" - Mr. Chinh said.
The company will pay overtime pay for holidays in the upcoming salary period, not in cash. The male worker took out 1,000,000 VND in advance to pay for the holiday.
When discussing his health during the holiday, Mr. Chinh said that he did not feel bored. Partly because this is like a normal working day, partly because I have to rest the next day to recover my health.
Mr. Pham Van Huan - a worker at an electronic components assembly company in Van Trung Industrial Park (Bac Giang) - also registered to work on the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday.
"My hometown is Nghe An. During the holidays, I voluntarily registered to work. Going to work on holidays, the company informed employees to receive wages and overtime pay for holidays according to regulations, so I am very excited and feel secure in producing" - Mr. Huan shared.
Thus, Mr. Huan can receive at least 400% of his salary on holidays. Compared to many others' 5-day holiday, Mr. Huan spends the full 2 days off work, then will rest on Sundays.
According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province, there are 14 enterprises with a total of more than 52,000 employees registering to work during the holiday from April 30 to May 1.
Accordingly, enterprises with employees going to work during the April 30 holiday and International Labor Day 1.5 have plans and a list of employees registering in advance with the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.
