News from the Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City on August 1st said: The Trade Union of Ngu Hanh Son Ward in coordination with the Ward Police organized the signing of coordination regulations and launched the model "Non Nuoc 3 Fine Arts Stone Village Union does not come to prevent and combat drugs".
This is a model to promote the role of trade union members and workers of Non Nuoc Fine Arts Stone Craft Village in crime prevention and social evils at the grassroots level.
The model was established under the coordination program between the Police and the Ward Trade Union in 2026.
The Executive Committee consists of 6 members, headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Thong, Chairman of the Trade Union, and Mr. Ating Chenh, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, as Deputy Head.
The operating model follows the motto "Self-awareness - Self-management - Self-prevention - Self-protection", with 3 no criteria: No illegal use of drugs; No illegal possession, trading, or transportation of drugs; No cover-up or complicity in violations of the law on drugs.
The model focuses on propagating laws on drug prevention and control; raising awareness and legal compliance of union members and workers; contributing to building a safe and healthy working environment without drugs; effectively implementing the Project on building a drug-free ward.
Immediately after the signing and launch of the model, the Ward Police organized propaganda for union members and workers of Non Nuoc Fine Arts Stone Village Trade Union to warn about new types of synthetic drugs, drugs disguised as food, drinks or electronic cigarettes that easily penetrate young people and the worker environment.
Especially the serious consequences of drugs for the physical and mental health of workers, family economy and social order and safety; regulations on handling violations, acts of using and illegally possessing drugs according to the Law on Drug Prevention and Control.
