Implementing the plan to strengthen security and order, Gia Lam Commune Police coordinated with forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, Vincons Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Vincon Security Company to organize drug testing for nearly 1,700 workers and laborers working and temporarily residing at construction sites and shacks.
At the inspection, functional forces conducted rapid drug testing samples according to regulations. At the same time, workers were propagated and disseminated legal regulations on drug prevention and control; raising awareness and responsibility in proactively preventing and combating drug evils.
According to the commander of Gia Lam Commune Police, the inspection activity aims to promptly detect and prevent the risk of drugs entering the working environment, contributing to building a safe and healthy working environment.
Through this activity, the police force also aims to raise the awareness of law compliance of workers and laborers, especially the ability to self-prevent, avoid and control drug-related risks.
Gia Lam Commune Police said that in the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with businesses, security units and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to strengthen propaganda, inspection and proactive prevention.
The goal is not to let drug evils arise at construction sites and worker accommodation areas, contributing to maintaining security, order and building a safe working environment in the area.
