For the first time in history, the Vietnamese working class has a large revolutionary organization, operating with principles and goals, representing the will and aspirations of the majority of workers, contributing to the growth of the domestic revolutionary movement as well as the international communist and workers' movements.

Trade union levels and many union officials were awarded the Independence Medal and the Labor Medal. This year with excellent achievements "There have been many great contributions to the country's socio-economic development, ensuring social security, humanitarian charity, application of scientific and technical advances, contributing taking part in the cause of building socialism and protecting the Fatherland"... The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor was honored to be awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the Party and State.

Pioneer in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country

Continuing the tradition of previous generations, today's generation of trade union officials are constantly pondering, exploring, proactively innovating, and devoting their best to the sacred and noble goal of ensuring protect jobs, improve income, and improve the lives of union members and workers.

To recognize and praise exemplary and advanced examples in trade union activities, especially the movement "Innovation, creativity, and effectiveness in the activities of trade union organizations" from 2019, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Regulations on awarding the Nguyen Van Linh Award - an award named after a highly prestigious leader of our Party, State and people, who held the position of Chairman of the Vietnam General Trade Union in the period 1977-1980... Through During the 3 times organized, 30 union officials with particularly outstanding achievements received this noble award.

In 2024, with the spirit of fairness, objectivity, openness and transparency, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided to award the 4th Nguyen Van Linh Award to 10 union officials. Among them, there are 5 grassroots trade union officials, 3 direct superior union officials at the grassroots level and 2 provincial and industry union officials.
