At the program held on March 7, delegates reviewed the tradition of International Women's Day March 8 and the Hai Ba Trung uprising. This is an opportunity to honor the spirit of patriotism, indomitable will and the role of Vietnamese women in the cause of building and protecting the country.
Leaders of Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City acknowledged the positive contributions of female trade union officials in the past time. Many female Chairwomen and Heads of Women's Affairs Committees have proactively implemented activities to care for union members, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female workers. Thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
On this occasion, the Ward Trade Union deployed a number of key tasks of Women's Affairs. In which, focusing on propagating policies and laws related to female workers; organizing activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members; launching the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework". Women's Affairs activities are also oriented to strengthen the application of digital transformation, build effective models and practices suitable to reality.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, creating conditions for female trade union officials to exchange, share experiences, and strengthen solidarity and responsibility in performing trade union tasks.
