Baby Gia Huy impressed with his composure and maturity compared to his age of 8. In a conversation with MC Oc Thanh Van and psychologist Dr. Bui Hong Quan, the boy moved many people when he confided his biggest fear: "I'm afraid mom will die... mom will leave me".
Gia Huy lives in a special family situation when both his father and mother are disabled. His mother used to be a disabled swimmer and won many medals in tournaments. Although her legs are not intact, she still constantly strives to make a living by selling lottery tickets, and continues to practice weightlifting with the hope of participating in competitions in the near future.
Witnessing his mother's hardship every day, Gia Huy soon became a knowledgeable child. He confided that he wanted to grow up quickly so that he could sell lottery tickets to help his mother. For him, the thing that makes him sad the most is not the lack of toys or new clothes, but seeing his mother struggling to make a living.
A small story shared in the program made the whole studio silent. When she saw her child like a toy worth about 300,000 VND, the mother gently said: "My child, that toy is worth 300 lottery tickets from me". Hearing that, Gia Huy immediately fell silent and did not ask to buy anymore.
Even so, the mother still promised to give her son a gift on his birthday. For her, her son's smile is the biggest motivation to continue trying every day.
Not only worried about his mother, Gia Huy also expressed his wish that his father could be healthier to help the family. His father was also disabled after an accident that caused him to lose his left leg. Due to limited health, his work faced many difficulties.
The boy confided that he wished his father would not be disabled so that he could take him to school or play like other fathers. Those innocent but sincere words made many viewers moved.
Under the connection of psychologist Bui Hong Quan, the two mothers and sons had the opportunity to confide and understand each other better. The mother realized that her son has grown up and is much more sensitive than his age. As for Gia Huy, his mother is the most important person he always wants to protect.
