Hai Phong dissolves 18 trade unions at the grassroots level

    Hai Phong - On the afternoon of June 25, the City Labor Federation held a conference to announce the decision to end the activities of trade unions at the grassroots level.

    The conference announced the decision to transfer 1,905 grassroots unions with 299,791 union members directly under 17 grassroots unions to the City Labor Federation. The time for transfer and receipt is from June 25.

    The City Labor Federation also dissolved and terminated the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of 18 trade unions directly above the grassroots level under the City Labor Federation from June 30, 2025. The trade unions of the dissolved units are responsible for handing over the seals, all documents, equipment, assets, finances, and transferring the status quo of grassroots trade unions, union members, and workers to the City Labor Federation for management according to regulations.
