Meanwhile, the handling of long-term late payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for businesses that are slow to pay and difficult to collect (bankrupt, dissolved, owner absconding...) still has no regulations or instructions on how to handle it. of the law has caused the late payment rate of Quang Ngai province to be high compared to the national average.
According to Mr. Truong Quang Hung - Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Social Insurance, previously outstanding insurance debt was at a single digit level, from 3-5%, but now it has increased to double digits. This is an alarming situation. Therefore, recently, Social Insurance cooperated with the Police to inspect, check and overcome this situation in some units. However, according to Mr. Hung, there are still many units that are slow to close. Therefore, in the coming time, the provincial social insurance agency will organize dialogues with businesses that owe social insurance debt, resolve questions, and force businesses to better pay social insurance payments to ensure benefits for workers.

However, it is extremely difficult to constitute a crime. The deadlock in handling businesses that owe salaries, social insurance debt... is not only in Quang Ngai but is on a nationwide scale. In Quang Ngai, very few businesses are prosecuted for insurance debt.
