Hanoi - Responding to the launch of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on October 3, the State Audit (SA) launched a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10.

Attending the donation ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan; Member of the National Assembly Party Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy State Auditor General Ha Thi My Dung; Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy State Auditor General Bui Quoc Dung; and civil servants, public employees, and workers of the State Audit Office working in Hanoi.

In recent days, storm No. 10 (Bualoi) has made landfall in our country, causing heavy damage to people and property in many localities, especially in the Northern region and from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri. According to the Department of Dyke and Natural Disaster Prevention, by 5:00 p.m. on October 2, storms, floods, landslides, and thunderstorms had caused total preliminary damage of nearly VND12,800 billion.

In that situation, at the donation ceremony, authorized by the Party Committee Secretary, State Auditor General, Chief of the State Audit Office of the State Audit Office Nguyen Manh Cuong called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the State Audit to promote the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and joining hands to support people in flood-affected areas. spiritual and material support will help people soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production.

Accordingly, the Party Committee and leaders of the State Audit Office called on each cadre, civil servant, public employee, and worker, in addition to participating in direct support at the hall, to share and support at least 1 day's salary for people affected by storm No. 10.

At the donation ceremony, State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan and civil servants, public employees, and employees of the State Audit respond enthusiastically, participated in donating, supporting, and joining hands with the whole country to support people in provinces that are heavily affected by storms and floods to soon overcome the damage to stabilize their lives.

It is known that after the ceremony, the State Audit Office raised more than 1.1 billion VND. This amount will be presented to the Fatherland Front by the leaders of the State Audit Office in the afternoon of the same day.
