Opening speech at the ceremony,

said that in a vibrant emulation atmosphere towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank of Vietnam (May 6, 1951 – May 6, 2026), the State Bank of Vietnam organized the Launching Ceremony of the "75 Years of the Bank of Vietnam" online running tournament.
It can be said that 75 years is a proud journey of Vietnam Bank. This online race is one of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Sector, marking the start of a new journey, not only with numbers, but with the will, spirit and solidarity of the entire Sector and the country to move into a new era.
This is not just a simple sports activity, but also a program of special significance, spreading the spirit of persistence, perseverance and continuous efforts of the Banking sector throughout the 75-year journey of construction and development. At the same time, the race also shows the solidarity and consensus of all officials, union members, and employees throughout the Sector. Although each person participates on different routes, everyone is aiming for a common goal, contributing to creating collective strength and spreading the spirit of solidarity.
In particular, by converting each kilometer of running to contribute to social security activities, the Running Race has connected the meaning between health training and community responsibility, clearly showing the role, responsibility and compassion of the Banking industry towards society" - Mr. Pham Tien Dung shared.
Through the race, the State Bank wishes to continue to strongly spread the movement of physical training and sports throughout the sector, contributing to improving the physical and mental health of officials and employees. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to strengthen the cohesion between units, creating a united, dynamic and enthusiastic banking community.

Workers can actively participate anywhere
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's race is organized online, applying modern technology, allowing each official and employee in the entire sector to actively participate anywhere. With the use of the Strava platform to record results, each step of our race is recorded transparently, accurately and widely spread.
The special and humane point of the race is: Each 1km of legal running of the athletes will be converted into a cost (1,000 VND) to contribute to social security activities, with a total value of up to 7.5 billion VND.
Thus, each step is not only a journey to improve physical strength, but also a journey to spread good values, contributing to building the image of Vietnam's banking industry to develop sustainably, humanely and responsibly.

As of 8:47 PM on May 2, 2026, the Registration Gate for the race has officially closed with 51,000 registered athletes, from 51 teams. And the amount contributed to the Social Security Fund of the Race has been and is continuing to increase from 0:01:00 this morning, May 3, 2026.
