Mid-Autumn Festival organized by the union
In recent days, many Mid-Autumn Festival programs have been organized by trade unions at all levels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, creating a playground for children of workers in difficult circumstances before the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Participating in the program organized by the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union for children of workers in difficult circumstances, Nguyen Minh Nhat (class 7A7, Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School, Phu My Town) said he was very happy to have fun in the Mid-Autumn Festival program. "I was guided by the uncles and aunts to participate in games, quizzes, watch magic shows... and also received Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, I felt very happy and excited. Thank you, uncles and aunts" - Nhat said.
Taking her child to participate in the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly (a worker at My Xuan A2 Industrial Park) said that the Union's concern and creation of a playground for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival is very meaningful and helps motivate them to study better.
“In the program, the children received a lot of attention, played with friends, played games, and received gifts, so my two children were very happy. This is a very meaningful program of the union for the children” - Ms. Ly shared.
Give away thousands of gifts
Through the organized programs, thousands of Mid-Autumn gifts were given to children of workers in difficult circumstances and to workers in the area.
Previously, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor issued a document instructing and directing all levels of unions to proactively coordinate with the government and business owners to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Activities such as giving Mid-Autumn gifts, organizing collective activities, carrying lanterns to celebrate the full moon festival, breaking cakes, lion dances... create a healthy and useful playground for children on the traditional festival of Vietnamese children. This is also a gift to encourage children of union members and workers on the occasion of the new school year 2024 - 2025.
Thousands of gifts were given to bring joy to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival, demonstrating the union's concern for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
