Article 3 of Circular No. 12/2024/TT-BNV (effective from February 15, 2025) stipulates:
Commemorate the medal under the management authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs
Commemorating the medal is a form of commendation of the Minister of Home Affairs to recognize and encourage individuals who have made contributions to the construction and development of the Ministry and the Home Affairs sector, including the following types:
1. Commemorative Medal "For the cause of the State Organization Sector";
2. Commemorate the medal "For the cause of Emulation and Commendation";
3. Commemorative Medal "For the cause of State Management of Belief and Religion";
4. Commemorative Medal "For the cause of the Book and Archives".
Thus, the Commemoration Medal for Emulation and Commendation is one of four commemorations of medals - a form of commendation of the Minister of Home Affairs to recognize and encourage individuals who have made contributions to the construction and development of the Ministry and the Home Affairs sector.
Article 5 of Circular 12/2024/TT-BNV stipulates:
Commemorative Medal Bonus Level
1. Individuals awarded Commemorative Medals will receive a Certificate, Framework, Commemorative Medal, Commemorative Medal Box and a bonus of 0.4 times the basic salary.
Thus, according to the above regulations, the bonus for the Commemoration Medal for Emulation and Commendation is 0.4 times the basic salary.
According to Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 million VND. Therefore, the level of Commemorative Medal bonuses under the management authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs is specifically:
2,340,000 VND x 0.4 = 936,000 VND.
In addition, in addition to bonuses, those who are awarded Commemorative Medals will also receive Certificates, frames, Commemorative Medals, and Commemorative Medal Boxes to honor and recognize their achievements.
